L’egarement D’esprit - Written In Stone (Steinklang)

L'Égarement d'Esprit is devoted to the dark and sensual side of late 19th, early 20th century Europe. Open the absinthe intoxicated mind, search for another state of consciousness, find enlightenment. "Written In Stone" is a compilation of two digital demos, online compilation tracks and previously unreleased material. Part of this album is a collection of oneiric impressions of a warm Summer evening, when an unknown young man is looking for comfort in lousy cafés, obscure brothels, opium dens on the eve of his enlistment. The other part is a silent scream of the same young man terrified, hungry, covered in trench mud, longing for home and warmth of woman's body. Dark ambient with a delicate martial and neoclassical touch. Ltd x 100 copies in a 6-panel digipak with pit art.
